The largest NEC Sphere customer is currently Memphis City Public Schools in Memphis, Tennessee with over 20,000 stations installed and in use across 192 geographically separated locations. With IP telephones, incremental growth can be implemented one station at a time. Additional endpoints, whether IP phones or PhoneHubs for analog phones, are plug and play – once added to the network they automatically check into the NEC Sphericall Managers and are ready to be assigned their extension information through the administrator software. Each NEC Sphericall Manager can accommodate up to 1,500 users.
